E-Commerce Solutions
***Note: Be Sure to Read Through This Entire Page if You Want Me to Help You Get Your E-Commerce Site Started. There are a few steps that need to be done in a certain order so that you can maximize your effectiveness and create a store that is guaranteed to succeed***
Have you ever dreamed of owning your own store? Do you have such a large passion for something that being able to sell it would make you happy? Or maybe you are willing to throw your passion to the wind and just want your own business so you can stop working for somebody else! Either way an e-commerce store could be what you are looking for.
As I mentioned on the My Story Page, my e-commerce stores are what turned my internet marketing “hobby” into a bona fide business. I was making a few hundred dollars a month with affiliate marketing and my information product on how to get a bartending job. But it was when I figured out how to build and market e-commerce stores that my wife jumped on board and we turned this whole thing into the family business. There is something about e-commerce that seems more legitimate to people who are not familiar with internet marketing. They understand the business model because it so similar to the retail model in the “real world”
But there are so many benefits to doing it online instead of brick-and-mortar:
- low cost barrier to entry
- don’t need to “keep regular hours” – work from home, when you want
- store generates profits 24/7/365 – as long as your site is up, your store is open
- get in front of customers ready-to-buy with simple SEO strategies
- source dropship wholesalers – don’t need to buy inventory upfront or in large quantities
- use keyword research to find a viable market that is ready to buy instead of the traditional route of
open a store and hope they come
Before I discovered the beautiful and wonderful open source community, I was shopping around to have a company build a store for me. The lowest quote I could find was $2500 and that included the uploading of only 10 products. It did not include any graphics design. So basically I would spent $2500 to have a store where there would only be 10 products, and no one would buy from the store anyway because it would look terrible.
But here are the facts. You can find an Open Source Shopping Cart/E-Commerce website template for absolutely free. You can also register for a PayPal account absolutely free so that you can take credit cards. You can get a free SSL certificate for your site (if you don’t know what that is, don’t worry) so your customers information is always protected by 128 encryption technology. You can also get a free 1-800 number that will forward to your home or cell phone and give your site the look of the big guys. Once you know where to look, setting up an e-commerce store can be VERY low cost. I have a few sites set up with this technology, they aren’t perfect but they do make me money. Feel free to check out my comfort bike shop and my patio firepit store. If you decide to move forward with me, you store will look similar to these.
Here is how it works. I run my e-commerce solution similar to my blog set-ups. There are a few difference though. If you buy your web hosting through my affiliate link for blog set-ups, the set-up is free. I can’t make that same offer here. E-commerce installations are a bit more complicated and time consuming but I am going to make it worth your while.
An e-commerce installation will cost only $250 if you buy hosting through my affiliate link. I also know that you have probably tried to make money online before and couldn’t get it to work. - Viable Keywords that have traffic, show commercial intent and do not have too much competition
- Keywords that show there is money in them – a little competition is a VERY good thing. It shows that people are making money in that market.
- A market that has real, legitimate, drop ship suppliers. Do not believe the crap you see out there about being able to dropship brand name stuff or programs with monthly memberships. They DO NOT work. You may be able to get the product through them but you will never get it at a price low enough to resell and make a profit on. But don’t worry, dropshippers are out there. You just have to know how to find them.
So here is how we will do this:
First, I need you too press the “Buy Now” button below. You will be billed $250 and I will send a manual which will teach you – step-by-step – how to find a market with the above three characteristics. You will have full e-mail support if you have any questions. I will be here to help you find a great market.
Second – Once you know your market then I will send you a link to purchase web hosting. The reason we wait to do this is because you want to know your market before you pick your domain name. SEO testing shows that having your keyword in your domain significantly helps your site climb the search engine rankings. I want you to wait until you know your market before you pick your domain, that is the best way to market your site.

Third – I will install and configure your store. Turn around time here could be 5-7 days or so. I have to wait for your SSL certificate to clear before I can install the software. This will insure that your customers information is protected on your site. Once your SSL is clear, I will build your store)
Lastly – Once your store is installed I will send you an email to let you know. At this time you can change your site login details so I will no longer have access. Your store will be ready for you to put on the finishing touches. Attached to the email will be a full set of tutorials and manuals that will walk you through, step-by-step:
- uploading products
- full store configuration
- complete admin panel overview which will show you
- how to manage your customers
- how to configure your payment processor (PayPal or a credit card processor)
- how to set up an FAQ section
- how to upload your store logo
- how to set up your shipping charges (if you choose to)
- how to set up your pricing to increase conversions
- how to maximize your relationship with your dropshipper (including a solid Purchase Order template that we use)
