Thanks for checking out my coaching services. I really get my kicks helping others get started online. There is a lot of information in the online marketing space and it can be tough to sort it all out alone. Lots of sites and online marketers make promises of a life lived in the tropics and all you have to do is hit send on an e-mail and you will be raking in the big bucks. As tempting as all of that is to believe, deep down we all know it’s not true. But it is so tempting to believe.

When I got started online, I was looking for a set it and forget it system that would make me money while I sleep. The 9-5 drudgery (more like 8-6, who are we kidding?) can make us believe lots of things that we know aren’t true. But here is the thing – you can build online income streams. They can even be pretty darn passive. Once you have them set up, they will make you money while you sleep. But you need to put in the effort up front. Work hard now and make money forever.

There are also ways to make money online that aren’t passive. Offering coaching services like this is certainly one way. These income streams require constant work and effort but they can still be extremely rewarding. I have taught quite a few people how to get started making money online, and it has been rewarding every time. To see the look on their faces when they get their site to #1 in Google, or make their first sale, or just learn a new skill, is incredibly rewarding to me. I would like to help you get started as well.

So here is how it works. I am going to lay out for you the different ways I make money online. If you are interested in having someone stand by you while you learn how to do it, then I am your man. I wish someone held my hand and walked me through the first steps of getting started online. I could have saved SO much time and money. Online Business Model #1:

Niche sites. With this model you build a site about a topic that you have interest in (although interest is recommended but not required.) Typically a niche site is a blog, even if only because WordPress is an awesome content management tool as well as a blog platform. My bartending site would qualify as a niche site. So would this bartending blog, which makes its money with affiliate programs and adsense revenue. This is usually the easiest way to get started online, if you know how to choose your niche. I can walk you through it step-by-step.

Online Business Model #2

Ecommerce. I have mentioned in other places that when I set up my ecommerce sites, my internet marketing “hobby” turned into a real business. This is partly because the e-commerce business model is easiest for people to understand. At this point, I was able to convince my wife to come on board and help me lose our chains and build the life we want to live, as opposed to the life our jobs were making us live. The keys to success here are finding profitable niches where you can get your stores to the top rankings in Google. I will even build your store for you if you like, but that isn’t included in the coaching program. With the coaching, I will walk you through every step you need to take so you can get started the right way and create a profitable online income stream.

Online Business Model #3

Authority Blog. This business model is for people who have a chosen passion in life and want (or need) to share it with others. Lose Your Chains would qualify as this business model. Here are the facts. If you have knowledge of a subject matter that other people want to get knowledgable in, you can make a living offering up that knowledge. And it doesn’t have to about making money online. I helped Tara get started with her gardening blog. And I helped Mark find an alternative stream of income with his passion, training dogs.

With this model you share your knowledge with the world and figure out win-win ways to make money doing it. My free blog set up or e-commerce solution would be 2 examples of this. My readers get the information they need to get started making money online  from someone who has done it before. I get to make a little money, either through an affiliate commission, or a very reasonably priced service. You don’t need a million customers to make a living. You only need a few customers who you treat very well.

This business model is by far the most fulfilling but it is also the most difficult to implement as a beginner. People often have a hard time sharing their knowledge and thinking of themselves as an expert. But I guarantee there is a topic out there that you know more about than 99% of the population. I can help you find it.

So if you are interested in any of the above online business models, I would be honored if you wanted me to coach you through it. I am pretty good at throwing in some motivational and inspirational stuff too. Keeping at it when you are alone at your computer trying to make it work is not always easy. Having someone guide you through it can be invaluable. You can learn much quicker and save time and money along the way.

Right now, I am charging $50 an hour for coaching. This is subject to go up fast but if you are in at $50, I won’t raise it on you. While there is no contract, I would highly recommend that you plan on weekly sessions. I would be happy to offer either two 30 minute sessions or one 60 minute session – whichever you prefer. We can speak on the phone or through Skype, whatever is easiest for you.

I am also open to coaching through e-mail if you prefer to do it that way. I know sometimes it is easier for me to communicate and schedule an e-mail rather than a phone call. If you choose to interact through e-mail, you can send me as many e-mails as you like but I will clock how long it takes me to write out the response. When we get to 60 minutes, the hour is up. I am a pretty fast typer so I don’t think this will cause any issues. As a matter of fact, you may be better able to organize your thoughts and questions in an e-mail and so you may end up getting more out of it this way.

You can also mix and match e-mail and phone and Skype (and snail mail or carrier pigeon or whatever). At the end of the day, I just want to make sure I am helping you out and will do what it takes to get you through the dip and over the learning curve.
